 Applications are invited for a JRF position in the Department of Physics for the DST funded project ‘Fabrication of highly ordered SERS active nanostructured substrate using Langmuir-Blodgett technique to understand the enhancement mechanism in SERS’. (Sanction No: SR/S2/CMP-0045/2012)

Eligibility: M.Sc. in Physics / Chemistry (Physical Chemistry Specialization) , M. Tech in Materials Science/ Laser Science & Engineering or equivlent with strong interest in Molecular Physics/ Condensed Matter Physics/ Spectroscopy/ Materials Science with NET (CSIR/UGC/LS) in Physical/ Chemical Sciences.  The candidates having M. Tech degree must have a valid GATE score. The duration of the project is 3 years.

The salary is Rs 16,000.00 (Rs 12,000.00 for NET LS) per month plus 15 % HRA for the first two years as JRF and Rs 18,000.00 (Rs 14,000.00 for NET LS) per month plus 15 % HRA as SRF (upon re-designation by the Committee).
