The Principal, Surendranath College, Kolkata-9 invites Sealed Quotations from the authorized firms of repute for repair and upgradation of one Compaq Presario computer.
1. The college authority reserves the right to cancel the Tender/Invitation at any stage/time without assigning any reason and without any obligation on the part of this organisation and is not bound to accept the lowest Tender. The decision of the competent committee to accept or reject any or all the Bids, will be final.
2. If the firm is in a position to quote for supply in accordance with the requirements stated, then it must also furnish with the tender all the information necessary in the tender document, failing which the tender will be liable to be ignored and not considered.
3. The Last Date for the receipt of the Bid is 28th of March, 2014 upto 12 noon. Tenders will be opened on the same day at 1 pm. The firm may participate in the tender opening. Tenderers should note that if the date of tender opening is cancelled owing to any emergent official business, the tender shall be opened on the next working date, if not otherwise mentioned in the notice board of the office. The tender should be dropped in the Tender Box in front of the Principal’s office during 11-4 pm.
4. In the event of the tender is accepted, the selected firm has to accept the clause of Performance Guarantee, as applicable, as a pre-condition for obtaining work orders, wherever applicable.
5. The firm must be capable of repairing and upgradation of the computer within 15 days’ of the receipt of the order.
